Channels of Longing by Sushant Thapa

The evening falls
Like the final curtain
On the stage
Of separation.
Life has its turn
What went away
Is a memory
Of recollection.
The stars at night,
The rain early in the morning
Are eyes of joy.
Maybe a new art
Has all
That it stood for.
Maybe time itself
Is a journey
Of belongingness.
We recall and time
Revives the channels of
Longing.
One old letter
Brings new memories.
