Author bio: Anna Kander is a Pushcart Prize-nominated author in the Midwest. She trained as a psychotherapist and remains licensed to practice. She writes with her sidekick, a fearless blue fish who doesn’t realize he’s only one inch tall. Her poetry and stories have appeared in Gnarled Oak, Social Justice, Dear Damsels, and other journals.
