A Few Haiku by Dustin Pickering

shelter against the

tempest of sunlight and dust:

a shadowy grove.

——-

midnight around the

moon and a halo of stars:

the season of spring.

——–

gentle leaf crushed by

the paw of a passing wolf:

a wet forest floor.
