Armenida Qyqja’s GOLDEN ARMOR soon to be released!!!

In the ancient myth of Pallas Athena, the goddess is born from Zeus through parthenogenesis. The goddess emerges from his forehead as full-grown. She becomes the goddess of war, one of indomitable spirit. An 1898 painting by Gustav Klimt presents her in golden armor to suggest the majesty of her divinity and power.

Golden Armor is a poetry collection about femininity, war, human rights abuses, and social concerns. Qyqja offers intriguing perspectives in the clarity of bold language. Most of the poems merge the female persona and her longings with contemporary concerns about global conflict and human initiative. Using a startling array of gentle symbolic images, Golden Armor is a remarkable act in literary citizenship.
